I'm still a little confused about the difference between integrated/functional and nonintegrated/nonfunctional approach I don't think I have the best grasp of it. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me understand it better... <.<>.>

This is a great opportunity for several of you to just share your ideas, PLEASE. I'll then weight in as a wrap up.
I'm not sure I know exactly. But I understood the functional as being able to point to what you need, and the nonfunctional as matching objects to pictures. However, I'm not so sure I've grasped a very good understanding either.
This is an excellent start, Tamara. Let's explore starting with what you said. In what type of a setting/situation would the child point to what they needed or work with the actual object?
In what type of setting would the student match objects to pictures?
Thirdly, how are these two settings different?
