morphemes, friend or foe?

I think that this unit is a tricky one, i think i'm pretty clear on the morphemes and i'm almost sure i have the utterances but together they get confusing because they all start to blend- any pointers???

Try not to think about utterences while you are reading for morphemes and vice versa. Hope this helps.

Try to look at it as when you are looking for morphemes you are breaking up the utterance into the specific morephemes that make that utterance up. This tends to help me and hopefully Itll help you out!

Utterances also tend to have a .,!? after them. This is not always true but it helps me some when i get confused.

I may help or I may be wrong but I think of utterances as having a space or break of thought between them.

I still have trouble with them as well. The utterances make it confusing.
