Bluegrass Technology!!
I just wanted to say that the field trip was a great experience. I had no idea anything like this even existed in Lexington. I learned a lot of new information and I was able to see a lot of new technology. This experience is something that I can use in the future as well as in my classroom. This would also be a great place to complete some community service/volunteer hours.

What exactly did you do while you were there, so I can have some idea of what I missed while out of town? Could you give me a quick rundown of the events of the evening?
I really had a good time as well. It is really amazing at all the things that can be used as assistive technology. I was familiar with quite a bit of the stuff that we saw and discussed due to using it where I work and with the students I work with. We tend to take things that we have no trouble with for granted but for those that are not as blessed as we there is a way to make their lives better.
I thought it was cool to see how all of the things can be modified to assist students. I personally thought the stress ball and marker thing was pretty cool I would have never thought about something like that. Hope you all have a great weekend!
I wish I could have went on the feild trip! Does that place have a website?
